Relax in the Waterfront Hot Tub

After a day of biking the island, shopping downtown, or exploring historic sites, unwind in the outdoor twenty-five person hot tub at the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront.

Located on the Pink Pony Patio overlooking the Mackinac Island Marina, this hot tub offers a relaxing place to soak and take in the waterfront views.

  • Open daily: 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM

  • Located at Pink Pony on the patio

  • Towels available at the Chippewa Hotel Front Desk

  • Changing rooms available

Important Notes

  • A Lilac Tree Suites room key is required for access

  • Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult

  • No lifeguard on duty

The hot tub is typically open daily but may close due to weather or hotel operations.

Just a short 4-minute walk (about 1½ blocks) from Lilac Tree Suites, the Pink Pony Patio at the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront offers one of the most iconic dining experiences on Mackinac Island.

Located along the beautiful Straits of Mackinac, the Pink Pony Patio is the perfect place to enjoy great food, famous Pink Pony drinks, and stunning waterfront views. Guests can relax in the open air while enjoying the lively atmosphere of downtown Mackinac Island.

Hours of operation vary throughout the season and may change at the discretion of hotel management.

During the summer months, Lilac Tree Suites guests also have access to the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront’s Sun Deck.

This relaxing outdoor space features comfortable chaise lounge chairs where you can stretch out, read a book, take a nap, or simply enjoy the fresh air and views of Mackinac Island.
