You can get to Mackinac Island in the Winter by catching the Star Line Ferry from St. Ignace. If ice conditions don’t allow for a boat, you’re able to fly to the Island from the airport in St. Ignace.

Mackinac Island Christmas Tree Lighting
The Mackinac Island Christmas Tree Lighting is a annual tradition for the families of the Island. This event raises money for The Medical Center, St. Anne’s, Little Stone Church, Trinity Church, and The Bible Church. The Main Street Christmas Tree Lighting is at 5:30PM on Friday. Join us for Christmas Carols lead by Mackinac’s very own Trish Martin.
