You can get to Mackinac Island in the Winter by catching the Mackinac Island Ferry Company’s Winter Boat (The Mighty Huron) from St. Ignace. A 45-minute horse-drawn taxi will take you and your luggage from the Mackinac Island Airport to the Downtown area. (Taxi service must be reserved in advance)
